Operation: 10 lb bass
The Heap Hunters just had a gauntlet to gauntlet conference call: Chesterfield, Va to Astoria, NY. After the unprecedented slay last spring, when both Heap Hunters upped their personal bests in days, the ante has risen. It has been decided: In the dreaded Virginia heat of July, 2011, Monday through Friday, the Heap Hunters will hunt for one 10 lb bass for an entire month. This mission will be fully documented, and if successful, a chronicling…of our rise….TO POWER! 1 lake. 2 Men. No One Does the Work We Do. Constantly upping. Bigger boat. Better reel. Outer Delirium. Bigger Bass.

I vow, to pursue, giant micropterus only. To make decisions, solely, to attract the largest of the Large. To continue, and to consistently, apprehend the maximum number of heaps, and to periodically, (and more importantly) up thy personal besten. Above all, I will work the cosmos, and continue to do the work, that the Lord requires…. ….that no one does. Always. In Donald Shades memory, Amen. Out.
